Room to Write: A free program that dedicates quiet time at The Ink Spot for The Writers, Ink members, is open the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, from 10 amto 5 pm, with host Nicole Vollrath.

Risk & Reward Read & Critique: The Writers, Ink still has room for one or two more writers of prose—fiction or nonfiction, in their Risk & Reward Read & Critique group which meets the first and third Monday of each month, 6:30-9:30 pm. Roger Aplon leads. Submit up to five pages to rogeraplon@gmail.com.

Screenwriting Read & Critique: Saturdays, 3-5 pm, at Playhouse Cafe, 6690 Mission Gorge Road.

Writer's Salon: the last Monday of each month, at The Ink Spot.

Poetic Brew: Third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in Rebecca's Coffeehouse (see ad on right). Read up to 3 poems for 3 minutes and 33 seconds. Different featured poet each month.
